Avreagering - Abreaction

After days of boring computerwork, running nose and anoing cough, I just had to find a way to both abreact and celebrate when the upcoming issue of our mag finally was sent away for printing. and I can't think of any better way than visiting some second hand shops *lol*

Just look at these chairs! Fits just perfect in my red'n white kitchen! They actually make me happy - along with my new table cloth with the cutest dotties :)
I needed some color - and I found it! A sunny bright metal dish :)

And a sweet pink suitcase with butterflies on :)

And I've found a new hobby too - crocheting! I've started on a pink/red/white blanket, and still have a looong way to go untill it's finished.

So, why not start on a new project while waiting...? *lol*

Well, time to take off for a new stamping/scrapping happening! A whole weekend filled with fun - I like that :)

Another advent calendar

During the weekend in Ski I spent my time decorating one of the advent calendars from Karen Foster. Now - back to work... wish you a great Friday :)

"I light a candle...."

Another homemade advent calendar with candles. This one can be used as a candlestick for advent - with 4 candles for each of the 4 Sundays.

In a couple of hours I'm off to sing with one of my choirs, and I'm pretty sure I have the most sexy voice of us all! The cold and the lack of voice sticks on to me like well chewed gum.... I guess I have to play on my charm instead of my voice... Wish you all a great evening!

And by the way - does anyone know where to by grab bags of old fabrics? Love to have tons of different colors, shapes and patterns :) I know it's possible to find on "loppis"/second hands, but I'm afraid the loppis season is over...?

One more bottle of wine

Here is one more bottle - decorated with my favourite colors red & pink.

Today I'm sitting home feeling so sorry for myself... I'm sick (I have a cold) and in less than 4 hours I'm supposed to travel off to Brumunddal for the weekend. My ensamble DameEtagen is spending the whole weekend together, recording songs for our new demo - and off course we've also planned lots of laughing, chatting, singing... all the ingreediences you need for creating a great weekend. Sounds great, right?

I know the smartest thing for me to do, is to stay home and relax... with my running nose and lack of voice, the Practical Me tells me to stay. But the Other Me whispers in my ear: "goooo, Åshild, goooo, enjoooooy..." And I'm caught in the middle...

I guess I'll give myselv a deadline: at 13.00 I have to make a decision! Untill then - I'll relax... :)

Vinflaskedekor - A decorated bottle of wine

Annie and I have been teaching classes - making this cute kind of card/ box / wine bottle decoration. This is the one for tonight's class; a Christmas version. The tags are from our newest product - a sheet of cut outs that will be available in our netshop soon.

Ski-treff og storproduksjon...

Last weekend I attended a gathering for cardmakers and scrapbookers, and as usual I created tons of stuff... nope... just kiddin'! I've realized that my mission at these gatherings is to disturbe all the others with my chatting! And, to be honest - I'm soooo good at it! :) I'm actually having trouble beeing creative when I'm all other places than home... But so it is. I love chatting too, so it's no big problem :)

I held two classes during the weekend. The first one was a "Advent calendar" class. I designed a practical version using a candle. Each day you pull out one of the needles and read the quote or the personal greetings that is written on the paper stripe attached to the needle. The candle is glued on a coaster.

Jeg frir til dere igjen, jeg! Jeg trenger nemlig hjelp til å skaffe til veie 6 sånne esker fra Panduro - og jeg trenger dem på Ski-treffet i morra kveld...! (Jepp, alltid tidlig ute as usual.... *flau*) Jeg prøvde å få tak i dem i Tønsberg, uten hell. Er det noen av dere som skal på Ski-treffet og som også skal en tur innom Panduro før dere kommer? *juuhuu* Da er det tid for ny messehelg - StempelScrap i Skedsmohallen! Det er alltid like moro! Vi stiller as usual med stand, så se etter Ett trykk-gjengen :) Vi stiller mannsterke! Og det kommer til å skje mye på standen vår hele helgen, blant annet en hel haug med flotte make'n takes. (Du ser en sniktitt av min på bildet over her...)

Birthday present to a friend

I know I've postet a lot of stuff lately, but only old stuff made for the last issue of our mag. That means I made it before the Summer vacation... so, it's been a looong while since last time I enjoyed scrapping. I haven't even had the guts to start on the long list of great challenges you gave me.

That's why I'm so pleased by today's work! I enjoyed making it! It's a birthday gift for a new friend of mine. I should have been at her birthday party this weekend, but had to say no because of to many other plans. So, instead of beeing at the party tomorrow, I've pre-celebrated her today while making this gift/card :) I guess that's why I loved making it so much... It's really made with tons of love and warm thoughts (and that's the best recipe of all!).
The card is huge, made on heavy card stock, size A4. The papers are all from Panduro - Tilda.

The gift - a silver heart necklace - in incorporated in the card, but still possible to remove and use as a regular jewel.
